神奈川県小田原市に残された別邸文化の一つ「皆春荘」です。第23代内閣総理大臣を務めた清浦奎吾が数寄屋風建築の建物をつくり、「近代日本陸軍の父」と言われる山縣有朋が箱根や相模湾の借景をつかった庭をつくりました。ホテル椿山荘東京につながる庭園は見どころです（工事中でした）。
